Founder Chantz Yanagida worked closely with schools and E-labs throughout college, and he recognized the opportunity these labs give STEAM students. However, heavy machine hours have caused a large quantity of equipment to experience issues beyond the teacher's capacity to repair. During this time, students have been forced to put their projects on hold as the teacher struggles to balance repairs and curriculum development. eLab Repairs believes that it is wrong for students to have their growth stifled by broken equipment. We are here to right that wrong and do what fab labs were meant to do in the first place, serve the students first.
